The Association of REALTORS® is governed by its members, who volunteer their time to serve in leadership positions.
The Leadership Team, a.k.a. Executive Committee, manages all of the association's affairs except those requiring approval by the Board of Directors.
Board of Directors
Members of the Board of Directors are elected by their local associations and are responsible for amending the association's bylaws, electing officers, approving expenditures from general reserves that exceed 10% of the annual budget, approving the association's strategic plan, approving an increase in membership dues, and defining regional boundaries.
MLS Board of Directors
The MLS Board of Directors, known in the MLS community for its diversity, is composed of various brokers, owners, and agents throughout Texas. This Board promotes cooperation within the entire real estate community and advances the goals of the MLS to unite real estate professionals and provide superior MLS services.
